Our Inspiration for the Terra Bella Line of Tiles
Terra Bella is an Italian term that translates to “Beautiful land.” This what we want our tile to do – to beautify each place it is installed. We have designed these tiles to be historically accurate and to reflect the unique terra cotta tiles that were produced in the U.S. in the 1920s. We have worked with top designers to make sure that they truly reflect the architectural style of that time period.
We Create Only the Highest Quality Tiles
Our ¾” pavers in the Terra Bella line are hand cast using only the best clays for the best quality result. They are high fired to get the rich red, brown, and orange colors, along with the dense, durable body that helps make them last or so long. These are truly exceptional tiles that are strong, bold, and beautiful.
These Tiles Can Be Used Inside and Outside
These are very versatile tiles that can be used indoors and can be used outdoors. They are even rated for freeze-thaw conditions in which it freezes and thaws regularly. If you are going to install tiles outside, it is important to doublecheck that they are rated for indoor and outdoor use before you choose them.
We Offer Many Tiles in This Line
In addition to the types of tiles we listed above, namely our ¾” pavers, we offer additional sizes and styles. For example, our ½” thick body pavers are thin pressed and can be installed virtually anyway you want, whether glazed, unglazed, or even a combination of glazed and unglazed.
Note that Our Process Will Result in Unique Tiles
It is important to us that our customers know that the unique manufacturing process we use will create beautiful variations in color, size, shape, and thickness. This is not a defect. In fact, it is one of the ways you can tell that tiles are handmade. If they are mass-marketed then they will be very uniform as well.
