In some ways, it feels as though 2020 has just begun, and in others, it feels as though it has gone on forever. Whether we like it or love it, 2021 is just around the corner. At Mission Tile West, we are taking a look at some of the new tile trends we will have to look forward to in the new year. If you see something you like, or you have questions about your options, reach out to us at 626-799-4595.
We are not seeing a lot of busy, overwhelming designs, but we’re not seeing a lot of neutrals either. We offer a wide range of color and style options. For example, our Revival Suede line is offered in a number of color combinations, all of which are colorful without being overwhelming. If you don’t like a lot of color, or don’t want to commit to it, you can also use brighter colors as a backsplash or accent spaces.
Larger Tiles Are Going to Be Popular
Tile sizes have gotten much larger in the last few years. This gives the option to add tile floors and walls without having too much grout. Large tiles also make it even easier to create bold patterns without overwhelming a space.
Shapes Will Be Everywhere
If you think of just squares and rectangles when you think of tile, then you will be surprised by many of the pieces that will become popular in 2021. We are seeing diamonds, trapezoids, hexagons, and even some unique, irregular shapes.
Tiles Are Going Everywhere
There is no space in a home that is not open game for tiles. Have you ever seen a tiled counter? You will. Have you seen walls covered in tile? They are coming. When you think about it, it makes a lot of sense – tile is hypoallergenic, easy to clean, affordable, and easy to maintain. In short, it is a great option not just for floors or countertops, but for every surface in the home.
Quality is Always in Style
As is always true, consumers are looking for high-quality tiles at fair prices. The good news is that there are many options to choose from when you shop with Mission Tile West. We know that quality doesn’t matter if tiles are so expensive you cannot afford them. Likewise, affordability is not an issue if the quality is so poor that they are not worth even a low price.
That is why we have worked to create the perfect balance between affordability and quality. If you have questions or want to see your options, contact us at 626-799-4595.
