What is Picket Tile?
It was inspired by classic hexagon tile, which has long been popular. It is very slim and elongates hexagon tiles for a unique, modern look. It is a larger shape and can be installed in three different patterns:
- Braided. This is a fan favorite. It is an organic look that provides a soothing result and is great on floors or walls. If you choose a braided installation, you can have a darker grout highlight the pattern, or choose a slightly lighter colored grout for a softer look.
- Straight horizontal installation. When this installation type is chosen, it is essentially treated as an option to subway tile. It can be installed in a horizontal, straight set that gives it a class twist yet modernizes that elegance. This is a great choice for both residential and commercial spaces.
- Straight vertical installation. Similar to the option above, this is a great choice for areas with a lot of vertical space, or if you want to make a room or wall seem higher than it is. This is also a great choice if you want to have a focal point installed right in the middle of it.
